Is it okay to leave your (archery) bow strung up?

I’m pretty new to archery and I was just wondering if it’s okay to leave my bow strung up or if it would be better to unstring the bow whenever I’m not using it?
I have a recurve bow, 60″ about 35lbs pull weight.

Is there an equation or plot (x,y) for a recurve bow (archery)?

In other words so that I can draw a graph showing the shape as you look at the plane of the bow. I am think of creating a recurve bow for a crossbow and could do with a nice outline of the shape. Any references you can give me would be helpful.

Which kind of archery bow should I use?

Terry G asked:

I’m currently using a 28lbs recurve bow with a metal riser. However, I’m having problem trying to stabilise it at full draw as the metal riser is putting to much weight on the bow arm and my arm tired out after 3 ends.

Should I continue to use a metal recurve bow or switch to the wooden one? Or are there any lighter metal risers out there?

What would be a good competition recurve bow with which to start learning archery?

I’m looking for something that is affordable yet decent. I know absolutely nothing about archery but have heard that the competition recurves are what are used in the Olympics games.

Is it legal to shoot archery in New Hampshire without a hunting licsence if you aren’t shooting animals?

Mary asked:

My 14 year old daughter is really into archery. She owns a recurve bow and arrows, but only uses it for competitions, not for hunting animals. We are traveling to New Hampshire next weekend and I want to know if it is against the law if she wants to go shoot in the woods. She will probably just be aiming at targets pinned up on trees, not harming animals. The house we are going to is isolated in the woods with no one around, so there is really no chance of her hitting anyone. (she wouldn’t hit anyone anyways because she has won several archery awards)
i asked my daughter and she scolded me for saying that she would ever shoot at trees. She has targets she could set up. Would that be legal?
