Is there a way of working out the correct length for a stabiliser on a bow or is it all down to personal preference? I’m 6′ tall and shoot a 68″ 35lb recurve bow, but I’m only a beginner on a budget and am looking to buy a second hand stabiliser but don’t really know what to go for. Can anyone help?

I am interested in getting a bow. I am short and have a short draw length. (23″) I was thinking about getting the Parker Buck Shot. Do you have any idea’s or is this a good starters bow? I have never shot a bow before, I am interested in learning before I decide to hunt with it.

Not modern bows. I’m talking about the ol’ hickory wood bows.
I’m very new to this. So I really don’t know many of the terminologies needed to know. The main purpose is to display, but I would like to learn how to shoot. I hold bows with my left hand. If you know of any dealers in Oregon, that would be great. Also, if any training courses are availible in Oregon, that would be great.
