i dont know of any specific teachers but look up archery clubs on line in your area. there are often tournaments or club shoots. find one and go. once there see who is in charge and tell them you want to learn. archers are in general a friendly bunch who are more than happy to teach. also you can contact bow makers on line like matthews, hoyt, pse, bowtech and ask them about local sales reps in your area. a good rep will put you in contact with someone to tech you. if they just want to sell you a bow look else where. a quick look under ohio archery clubs will give you lots of options. have fun archery is not a cheep hobby but an awesome one.

I believe that Fairview high school in Nwest ohio teaches it and has a school club sport team.

Try this link, it is to a page listing some archery clubs in Ohio
There might be one (or more) near you.

    You could also try
or if you just want to learn in a more relaxed way, there is the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronisms, Inc). The group you should contact is a part of “The Region of Oaken”
Click on the area where you live (i.e., the county you live in) and you should eventually be directed to the website of the local SCA branch; an example is Fairfield County is “The Shire of Mugmort”. Look for links to “Officers” or search for “Archery Marshal” or “Archery Activities” on the website for the branch in your particular area.

Good luck, and have fun with archery. :-)
